Online Training Modules on COVID-19
Online training modules to support the response to the outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) are available in many languages. All resources are freely accessible to anyone interested through OpenWHO.org, WHO’s open learning platform for health emergencies.
Specifically, WHO has developed online courses on the following topics:
Module 1:
A general introduction to emerging respiratory viruses, including novel coronaviruses (available in Arabic, English, French, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish and Persian)
Module 2:
Clinical Care for Severe Acute Respiratory Infections (available in English, French and Russian)
Module 3:
Health and safety briefing for respiratory diseases - ePROTECT (available in English, French, Russian, Indonesian and Portuguese)
Module 4:
Infection Prevention and Control for Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) (available in English, French, Russian, Japanese, Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian)
Module 5:
COVID-19 Operational Planning Guidelines and COVID-19 Partners Platform to support country preparedness and response, currently available in English, but coming soon in additional languages
